MacBook recovery in mid-air

In her sleep-deprived and travel-stressed state, Shanna Warmald accidentally left her laptop in the overhead compartment on her plane from the UK to Canada. It was stolen from there and wasn’t used for about a month. When it finally appeared online, our Undercover recovery center let her know immediately, and continued to keep her informed. Below, Shanna gives a brief overview of the recovery procedure.

"I had a tough time with police because it was considered to have been stolen in Canada but tracked back to the UK, so nobody really knew which police had jurisdiction on it. Eventually it worked out and I got the Manchester Airport police on my case. Turns out it was an employee of the airline who stole my laptop off the plane, then took it home with him on the return flight to the UK."
