Witness may have saved my daughter's life

"I installed Witness on my daughter's Mac because she and her college roommate felt that someone had been frequently coming into their college apartment while they were out. Within 2 weeks of installing Witness, while taking her organic chemistry final exam, she received an alert and a video of a man going through her apartment. She called the police who identified and later arrested the man for breaking and entering. If she didn't have Witness installed on her computer, this story may have had a terribly different ending.

iPad recovery thanks to Witness

"I had an iPad stolen at work (in a hospital) a few weeks ago and thought it was not going to be recovered.
Some of my colleagues were having money stolen out of their wallets/computer cases in the same area where I had kept my iPad and where my laptop computer was set up every day. I decided to give your program Witness a try to see if it would pick up somebody messing with my computer.

Within twenty minutes I was sent a text and assumed it was a false positive "sighting". Not so. I observed somebody going through my computer bag. Somebody I didn't know. The person was identified and the police were contacted.
The short story is that I got a call from the detective this afternoon and was told that this individual confessed and still had my iPad. I supposed to get it returned to me tomorrow! Case closed, thanks to your program. As Apple says, there's an app for that! Next, I'll purchase your other program Undercover. "
